Program Overview

The Summer Sports Program is a comprehensive, data-driven training experience designed to help athletes advance all facets of performance. The program integrates advanced performance testing, intentional strength, speed, and power development, position-specific skill work, live competitive at-bats, and professional recovery strategies. Athletes are grouped by age and readiness (Youth and College Prep) to provide appropriate coaching, workload management, and competitive environments, allowing each athlete to train with purpose, recover effectively, and prepare confidently for fall competition.

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

Times: 1 PM - 5 PM

WHO IS THIS FOR?:

While we’ve set a general guideline starting at age 13, placement is not determined strictly by age. More importantly, we look at each athlete’s overall readiness—physically, cognitively, and emotionally—to ensure they can both benefit from and contribute to the training environment.

PROGRAM
GOAL

1. Objective Data Collection & Evaluation

Purpose: Establish baselines, individualize training, and track meaningful performance changes.

  • Movement quality and competency screening

  • OVR Performance Smart Speed/ Force Decks (sprinting performance and applied characteristics)

  • Output Sports VBT (applied tracking of velocity metrics)

  • HitTrax/Rapsodo (hitting/pitching analytics)

  • InBody Composition Analysis

2. Speed, Power and Strength Development

Purpose: Programming designed to drive specific adaptations that enhance all facets of performance.

  • Movement efficiency, joint integrity, elasticity and neuromuscular preparedness

  • Applied performance characteristics (rate of force/velocity development)

  • Calculated progressions and intentional workloads

3. Position-Specific Skill Development

Purpose: Managed collaboration of skill work and strength training

  • Full-size indoor infield, 12 cages with data-collection, and open throwing space

4. Live Competitive Gameplay

Purpose: Controlled setting Live At-Bats

  • Scheduled competitive game-play with weekly workload progression

5. Recovery & Workload Management

Purpose: Support adaptation, reduce injury risk, and sustain high-quality performance.

  • Passive modalities such as sauna, cold plunge, red light therapy, and compression.
